HeartMath® Stress & Wellbeing Assessment Wellington

Understand Your Stress. Strengthen Your Resilience.

Many people know they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, or out of balance, but struggle to identify exactly why. The HeartMath® Stress & Wellbeing Assessment combines HeartMath technology with personalised coaching to give you greater insight into how stress may be affecting different areas of your life — and where positive change may be possible.

As a Certified HeartMath Coach and Mentor, I use this assessment to help you better understand your individual stress patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build greater resilience for everyday life.

HeartMath Stress & Wellbeing Assessments are available in person at Capital Sports Medicine in Wellington CBD.

What is the HeartMath Stress & Wellbeing Assessment?

The HeartMath® Stress & Wellbeing Assessment offers a personalised snapshot of how you are currently experiencing and responding to the demands in your life.

During your in-person assessment, HeartMath technology is used to explore your heart rhythm patterns and Heart Rate Variability (HRV), giving us additional insight into how your nervous system responds to stress.

Heart Rate Variability refers to the natural variation in time between each heartbeat. Rather than aiming for a perfectly steady heartbeat, healthy heart function includes subtle variation between beats.

Together, we review what your results may be showing, explore patterns that could be contributing to stress or overwhelm, and identify practical strategies to support greater resilience, emotional wellbeing, and self-awareness.

The purpose is not simply to collect information. It is to help you understand yourself more clearly and leave with practical ways to support positive change.

What Does the Assessment Measure?

The assessment explores several important areas of wellbeing, including:

  • Stress levels

  • Resilience

  • Emotional wellbeing

  • Life satisfaction

  • Relationships

  • Physical wellbeing

  • Mental and emotional balance

  • Overall quality of life

  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Stress recovery capacity

  • Emotional resilience

  • Heart coherence

Many people find the results both insightful and validating, providing a clearer understanding of how stress may be affecting their everyday life.

Why Complete the Assessment?

Stress often develops gradually and can become normalised over time. Many people continue functioning while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or emotionally drained.

The HeartMath Assessment can help you:

  • Gain greater self-awareness

  • Identify hidden stressors

  • Recognise personal strengths

  • Improve emotional regulation

  • Build resilience

  • Develop practical wellbeing strategies

  • Create meaningful and lasting change

Understanding where you are today is often the first step towards creating a healthier and more balanced future.

Your Personalised Coaching Session

Included with the assessment is a personalised coaching session where we review your results together.

During this session we will explore:

  • What your results mean

  • Areas of strength

  • Opportunities for growth

  • Practical strategies to improve wellbeing

  • Personalised next steps

The goal is not simply to understand the assessment results but to transform those insights into meaningful action.

  • Navigating a life transition

  • Experiencing burnout or exhaustion
